Meet a Member: Fireside Chat with Deb Brandon
WARP (Weave a Real Peace)
first aired July 9th, 2025 at 1pm MDT/ 3pm ET (online)
Join us Wednesday, July 9th, for a special conversation with the extraordinary Deb Brandon—weaver, textile scholar, author, global traveler, and longtime WARP member!
From leading WARP’s beloved “Textile Techniques from Around the World” column to recovering from a life-altering brain injury and writing her memoir, Deb’s journey is one of resilience, creativity, and deep global connection through textiles.
Deb will be sharing stories from her work, her books (including “Threads Around the World”), her dragon boat racing (!), and her years of teaching math at Carnegie Mellon. Expect an inspiring, heartfelt, and very human conversation.
Can’t make it live? No worries!
Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording afterward!
This event is free to attend but open to WARP members only.
