Deb Brandon: Living in Radiant Color

Brain Injury Awareness Month: March 4th

It’s Brain Injury Awareness Month! I’m posting brain-injury related information and resources every day in March. Today’s resource is Over My Head: A Doctor’s Own Story of Head Injury from the Inside Looking Out by Claudia L. Osborn.

Over My Head was one of the first books I read about brain injury while recovering from my own brain injury. It’s still one of my favorites. It’s the inspiring story of how one woman comes to terms with the loss of her identity and the courageous steps (and hilarious missteps) she takes while learning to rebuild her life. Be sure to check out Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn throughout the month for more brain injury resources! You can also check out the Brain Injury Association of America or follow #MoreThanMyBrainInjury for more information.
