Brain Injury Awareness Month: March 2nd

It’s Brain Injury Awareness Month! I’m posting brain-injury related information and resources every day in March. Today’s resource is The Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation.

Not all brain injuries are caused by accidents or sports injuries. The Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation (previously called the Angioma Alliance) was the first patient organization for those with cavernous angiomas, those tangles of malformed blood vessels that can wreak havoc. The Alliance also works closely with academic researchers, treatment developers, government, and medical professionals to change the future. Some member stories, including books can be found at: https://www.alliancetocure.org/…/member-stories-blogs/

Be sure to check out Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn throughout the month for more brain injury resources! You can also check out the Brain Injury Association of America or follow #MoreThanMyBrainInjury for more information.
