“So how was the horse thing last night?”
I gave Kate a goofy smile. “I… it was… amazing.”
I just didn’t have the words to describe Cavalia Odysseo. I had no idea where to begin. It felt so… so huge, so incredible, magical. The horses and the African tumblers and the acrobats… it was fabulous. The scenery, and the showmanship, the costumes, and the horses… The horses were just beautiful, Arabians and a Lipizzaner, and an appaloosa. Trick riding, dressage, and they filled the arena thingy with water towards the end of the show, and had the horses gallop through it, and the rider doing the dressage did some of it in the water. And there was this one horse, a paint horse, who wandered off, and just didn’t want to be a part of it. He was bucking. Then he reluctantly joined back in. He was so funny. Maybe it was part of the show, though probably not.
It was just… amazing.
